When Mike Savary is finally forced to resign Councilman Harry Zikas Jr., will nominate 3 Democrats to replace Savary.
Tom Seiss, Travis Cortelyou and Tracy Grossman are running for town council this year. Zikas may select Grossman or Seiss as a nominee, as they are both Democrats. Cortelyou is a Republican, running as an Independent.
Two candidates must continue to run in the November election. Mike Schwar, who was appointed to replace Chris Pfefferle, is not trusted by our town, and his "re-election" would threaten attempts to fight corruption on council.
Craig Dunwell is also up for re-election, and residents are publicly sharing all the reasons why we must vote against him.
Stay strong, Alpha.

Team Dunwell is intimidated by a new face in town?
Former Washington Councilman, Justin Jewell, recently moved to Alpha. His move was mentioned in The Express Times:
http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/warren-county/express-times/index.ssf/2013/08/washington_councilman_to_resig.html
A forum user thought to be Craig Dunwell made negative statements about Jewell:
http://connect.lehighvalleylive.com/user/vectoring/index.html
Justin Jewell was welcomed to the Huntington Fire Company where his talents and abilities are greatly appreciated.
Craig Dunwell is known to despise rescue volunteers and anyone who is successful or seen as a hero.

Craig Dunwell endangered children in 2011
Craig Dunwell is well known for his reckless driving. Two police departments have warned residents that they "look for him" when they believe he's been drinking.
Dunwell often drives dangerously when his neighbors are present and has been witnessed aiming his car at several people and children.
In 2011, Craig Dunwell passed a school bus on 7th Avenue while the STOP sign was in use. The STOP sign is to protect children who enter and exit the school bus while the bus is stopped on the street.
Craig Dunwell has no regard for safety, and does not care about the lives of children or neighbors, as he seems to hate everyone.
Alise Obrien - "When the bus stop sign is up you stop. Period. If not it's (a) $600, 6 month loss of license and 4 or 5 points off your license."

Residents are fed up with Craig Dunwell's tyranny
Facebook has become Alpha's favorite social website to discuss hot topics and news.
Maura Pocquat:
"Isn't it nice that we...the taxpayers..are paying for Dunwell to stalk us (on) video. Well of course he has plenty of time for that considering HE DOESN'T HAVE A FREAKING JOB! Get a life!"
"Someone should ask why the library has been excluded from these cameras even though we have been assured numerous times that they would be installed and available for our librarian to view for security measures. We have asked numerous times and still no security...talk about lying and false statements."
Marge Fuller:
"Maura, you said a mouth full...about the lying & falsehoods."

Alpha taxpayers want to be heard by council
Residents feel 5 council members are making terrible decisions that don't represent Alpha's best interests.
Here are letters written by two residents wishing for their voices to be heard:
"Fires can happen anytime anywhere, be it a small transformer fire, the school or even the Evergreen Apt. Complex, it could even be your home (in regards to council members). The question is will Alpha Fire be ready. Apparatus is technology and sometimes technology fails; especially if not upgraded. Sure Stewartsville, Huntington, Lopat and Pburg as well as many others can respond with their apparatus; but that is time wasted. By the time command gets on scene, assesses and calls for mutual aid up to 20 minutes may have passed. What if it was your home (to council members). The truth of the matter is, yeas Alphas truck may be in ok condition and I don't disagree its pricey, nor do I disagree that we can use other towns: but what if that town cant get out, what if they have an accident responding to our town. This can happen, wouldn't you (council) want to know we are safe and have the equipment needed to save a residents life, bet if it was one of your houses you would? Let's be real for a moment. While curbs may add a nice touch, a skate park may be great for kids: but what good is this when your municipal building is burning down cause someone accidentally left the lights on, or that apt. Complex with the 2 year old upstairs hiding under the bed. Put the taxpayers money to something we can all benefit from, a chance at a 2nd life, a slightly fire damaged home as opposed to a fully burnt down home, after all fire is not biased and may choose anyone, even you. Support 82 fire update their truck. Thank you."
"Dear Mayor and Council, I cannot attend the meeting this evening but would like to add my input. As for the sidewalks and curbs on 7th Ave., I believe it is wasting taxpayers' money. There are many roads in town that are aging and need repair. In the financial state the country is in right now, isn't it best to spend money on only what we need and not frivolous cosmetics? I also think our tax money would be better spent by helping the Fire Department have the best equipment we can obtain. After all, lives and property depend on our Fire Department. I don't think our lives depend on curbs and sidewalks where there has never been a need. Finally, to quote someone on council who spoke to the newspaper, "This isn't the big city". Isn't the big city where all the curbs and sidewalks are?"

Craig S. Dunwell abuses contractor and Alpha
Controversial councilman, Craig S. Dunwell, seems to be unemployed and has a lot of time on his hands. In fact, he has plenty of time to interrupt a very busy, hard-working contractor from Penn-Bower Inc. in order to ask him to take away yard waste for him...even thought the man is obviously in the middle of an important job for Alpha!
Craig Dunwell wandered outdoors carrying his trash - some damaged yard pavers.
Dunwell spoke to the contractor and then began to load his trash into the contractor's trailer. Neighbors watched in shock as Dunwell shook and stumbled, clearly unable to handle the pavers after a long morning and afternoon indoors, possibly drinking.
Dunwell glared at anyone who dared to view his unethical behavior.
Next Dunwell insisted that the busy contractor enter his mother's yard to collect countless loads of crumbling pavers.
Notice the contractor was properly dressed for the day's 39 degree weather? Dunwell did not require a coat, gloves or hat. Was Craig Dunwell wearing Magical Beer Warmth?
Dunwell is up for re-election this November. VOTE HIM OUT!

"Alpha officials unleash new plan to replace homeowners' outdated water lines" written by crooked Councilman Craig Dunwell's close buddy, David Foster. Or was it written by Dunwell and emailed to David Foster?

2/8/12 - Councilman Craig S. Dunwell harasses local daycare...again.
Alpha, New Jersey's councilman, Craig Dunwell, is well known for "not working a day in his life" as one local Alpha, NJ resident explained. In fact, Dunwell recently told friends that work is for fools.
Dunwell was also quoted commenting on http://LehighValleyLive.com - "Work for 8 hours" as you say, is the patter of the Global plantationist. These Corporation monstrosities would place everyone on some sophisticated type of plantation so you work your "8 hours" then go home to your cabin that "they provide you."
Craig Dunwell lives at his mother's home and seems to be supported by his wife. He spends his days verbally abusing Alpha's town employees as they work for their livings, providing excellent service to our town.
Dunwell is being taken to court for harassing Alpha residents. His main focus is the Crouse family and their small, private daycare.
On 2/8/12 Councilman Craig Dunwell was picked up by Councilman Mike Savary. At first it seemed Dunwell hoped to stash two bags of garbage into the passenger seat of Savary's car as he opened the door and began to place the bags inside. Then he had a change of heart, walked to his empty trash containers, placed the bags in the garbage instead and carried the can to the street. Next he got into the car and Savary slowly backed out into the street. Councilman Craig Dunwell was clearly spotted by five Seventh Avenue residents pointing his finger at the home of the Crouse family, photos below.
An hour or so later Savary pulled his car into Dunwell's mother's driveway again. Dunwell opened the passenger door but did not get out. Savary turned his headlights on and off. He slowly backed out of the driveway and drove in reverse down Seventh Avenue. Then he pulled up in front of the Crouse family's home and sat there as Dunwell and Savary stared at the house. A police report was filed within the hour. At this time 35+ police reports create a paper trail telling the story of Dunwell's harassment and violence acts aimed at local residents.
Alpha council works for us! File a complaint regarding Councilman Craig Dunwell's disturbing behavior. Call NJ state at 609-292-0479 and ask to speak with Eileen regarding unethical and possibly illegal actions.
